Undergraduate student onboarding

First-year in-person students

First-year students are admitted out of high school (any college credits earned were earned while still enrolled in high school). For first-year students based on campus, your next steps start with the First Year Experience modules and signing up to attend an Academic Orientation. Follow your priority tasks on your My ASU page.

ASU Online students and in-person Transfer students 

Transfer students studying at one of our campuses and locations are admitted after completing high school and then attending a college or university, earning at least 12 credits before applying to ASU. ASU Online students earn their degree fully online.

Online and Transfer students should:

•  Get ready to register for classes by attending a Herberger Institute Advising workshop
• Register
•  Complete any priority tasks on MyASU page
•  Review important dates for Tuition and Fee payment deadlines
•  Review your Financial Aid awards and complete any additional priority tasks
•  Review your undergraduate degree progress resources
•  Review your My Transfer Guide (click the gold button on the upper right side) for course         equivalencies
